Sierra Club invitation to talk about renewable energy in Glendale
Hey everyone, here's a Sierra Club invitation for anyone who's interested in participating in Glendale and Burbank's renewable energy future!
This meeting is coming up on Thursday, March 27 from 6-8pm in the Glendale Arts community room at 116 West California Avenue in Glendale.
More info: Glendale and Burbank receive a significant portion of their energy from a coal fired power plant in Utah, along with LA and Pasadena. With LA's coal divestment, the participating cities must decide how to replace that coal. We need to push elected officials to pursue aggressive energy efficiency and renewable energy goals. Let's pave the way forward to a clean energy economy.
For questions, contact Kiersten Iwai at kiersten.iwai@sierraclub.org or at (415) 535-9177
